Sharsheret-A Jewish Breast Cancer Organization

Sharsheret, a national non-profit organization, improves the lives of Jewish women and families living with or at increased genetic risk for breast or ovarian cancer through personalized support and saves lives through educational outreach.

Covid Protocols: Nothing in person at this time.

What will I be doing? Raise awareness, advocate and support women and their families who are fighting breast and ovarian cancer. You can support Shasheret by hosting online events such as a “pink” challah bake or putting together a fundraising drive to create bags of cosmetics to make patients feel good about themselves, or “busy boxes” of toys for kids whose parents might be battling cancer. Shasheret will work with you to create a project based on your interest and what their current needs are.
