Northern Illinois Food Bank
Providing the food our neighbors throughout Northern Illinois need to thrive.
At Northern Illinois Food Bank, we focus on delivering food and healthy eating services to the Northern Illinois community. As part of the national Feeding America network, we serve our neighbors in 13 counties by providing 250,000 meals per day.
Some Ways our Volunteers Help
- Food Sorting & Packing
- Inspect, sort, and package food that will be distributed to our hungry neighbors.
- Grocery Distribution
- Serve our neighbors directly at the Winnebago Community Market, My Pantry Express, and Mobile Markets.
- Signature Events
- Assist in planning fundraising events, soliciting sponsorship or auction items, and providing day-of logistic support. If interested in helping in this way, please send an email to tking@northernilfoodbank.org.
