Established in 1977 by legendary bayman Lou Figurelli, the NRPA is a consortium of conservation groups, yacht clubs, sportsmen's clubs, environmental groups, and concerned citizens dedicated to protecting the marine environment of Raritan Bay and Lower New York Harbor.
