Thank you for being so interested in volunteering with God's Love We Deliver! We are thrilled to share more about our mission and our services. God’s Love We Deliver is a non-sectarian organization providing medically tailored meals to people in the metropolitan area for 40 years. Our mission is to improve the health and well-being of those living with HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other serious illnesses by alleviating hunger and malnutrition. We also offer illness-specific nutrition education and provide meals free of charge to our clients and their households.
We have plenty of opportunities for young people to join us in our kitchen, bakery, or fulfillment department. Please note that volunteers under 13 are to be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the duration of the shift. Please find below an overview of the components of each task;

Baking
Tasks include mixing, scooping, and packaging batter and dessert items. -
Fulfillment
Package our client's meal bags and/or add labels to needed components and bags. -
Kitchen Projects
Volunteer on projects in our kitchen with the guidance of our on-staff chefs. Tasks may include packaging meals, chopping onions, making meatballs, ladling soup, peeling potatoes, scooping baked goods or preparing fresh herbs.
