At The People Concern, we believe that no one should have to live on the streets or in a violent household. Our dedicated staff, volunteers, and those we serve work together to address the challenges of homelessness, poverty, mental and physical illness, abuse, and addiction. Through our programs, we empower the most vulnerable members of our community to improve their quality of life—helping them find housing, maintain good health, and stay safe—while also educating the broader community and advocating for better public policies.
Volunteer Opportunities for Students
There are many ways for students to get involved! They can:
- Prepare sack lunches and hygiene kits for clients
- Serve meals and engage with clients during lunch
- Host a game night or plan a fun ice cream social where they can connect with clients and hear their stories
- And much more!
Parents must be present for volunteering.
