Past Experience

Hughie is the co-founder of The Arts Project Syracuse (TAPS), a nonprofit bringing arts education to under-resourced youth in his hometown of Syracuse, NY. He has led identity-based workshops and assemblies in schools and communities across the country, supporting students in embracing their stories and building Jewish pride. His educational outreach extends to digital platforms as well, where his creative content exploring Jewish identity and joy reaches millions of viewers online.

He has served as an adjunct professor at the Los Angeles College of Music and built a career rooted in youth development, Jewish learning, and creative engagement.

Education and Training

Hughie holds a Bachelor of Music in Songwriting from Berklee College of Music and has received extensive training in Jewish education, anti-hate programming, and identity-based facilitation. He has led programs in camps, schools, synagogues, and universities, building bridges through honest dialogue and joyful learning.
