Description:

Since 2002, the mission of Birthday Wishes has been to support the social-emotional needs of families experiencing homelessness by helping build a foundation for healthy self-confidence and self-esteem through milestone celebrations.

Our goal is to encourage and enable caregivers to host celebrations at their shelter, so they can show their child just how much they love and value them.

Our programs work in collaboration and in conjunction with the mental health support programming offered by our shelter partner network to address trauma families may be experiencing so they can restore family and community connections.

Bring birthday joy, one project at a time.

Looking for a meaningful way to give back? Birthday Wishes offers fun, hands-on service projects for individuals, families, schools, and organizations. Every project helps bring the joy of a birthday celebration to children experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity.

Please contact us before starting a project so we can share our current highest-need items and guidelines.

Who we are

We are a team of change-makers who believe that every helping hand can raise a child and create a better future for them.

We started extending help to needy children and youth who were eager to study and work for a better life. This moment intensified when we found that there were many such underprivileged children who needed help with food, shelter and education. Our team expanded and we spread out in different regions to make sure we cover all possible areas and help as many children as possible.

We now run shelter homes, schools and a reasonable mess that helps such needy young people. We also have our helpline offices spread throughout the country so one can approach us anytime they need help.

Our approach

Our Mission
Our mission is to make sure all young people and children get all the support they need, when they need it, no matter what it is.

Whether it is a reassuring conversation, financial help, education, professional training, or simply the assurance that they are not alone, we will make sure that everyone gets support that meets them where they’re at as quickly as possible.

Our Vision
We want to build a world where no child or youth feels alone and gets every possible help they need as soon as possible.
Our entire team wants to see a world where every youngster struggling in any way feels able to reach out and has people who’ll help them with education, jobs, and more. We want to spread out in every region so we’ll be reachable to all.
