Heal the Bay
1. Heal the Bay is an environmental nonprofit established in 1985 that is dedicated to making the coastal waters and watersheds in Greater Los Angeles safe, healthy, and clean. We use science, education, community action, and advocacy to fulfill our mission.
Volunteer Opportunities
1. Adopt-A-Beach
  1. Volunteer through Heal the Bay’s Adopt-A-Beach program and take the initiative to lead your own cleanups. Commit to three cleanups in one year at your chosen outdoor place (a neighborhood, beach, park, creek, or trail) anywhere in Greater Los Angeles. Use the Marine Debris Tracker app to track the trash you remove and help change environmental policies locally and globally.

2. Nothin' But Sand Beach Cleanups
  1. On the third Saturday of every month (except December), we host beach cleanups at local beaches in the area. Individuals interested in participating can register via our website.

Who we are

We are a team of change-makers who believe that every helping hand can raise a child and create a better future for them.

We started extending help to needy children and youth who were eager to study and work for a better life. This moment intensified when we found that there were many such underprivileged children who needed help with food, shelter and education. Our team expanded and we spread out in different regions to make sure we cover all possible areas and help as many children as possible.

We now run shelter homes, schools and a reasonable mess that helps such needy young people. We also have our helpline offices spread throughout the country so one can approach us anytime they need help.

Our mission is to make sure all young people and children get all the support they need, when they need it, no matter what it is.

Whether it is a reassuring conversation, financial help, education, professional training, or simply the assurance that they are not alone, we will make sure that everyone gets support that meets them where they’re at as quickly as possible.

Our Vision

We want to build a world where no child or youth feels alone and gets every possible help they need as soon as possible.

Our entire team wants to see a world where every youngster struggling in any way feels able to reach out and has people who’ll help them with education, jobs, and more. We want to spread out in every region so we’ll be reachable to all.
