Matan is a Jewish organization that helps make sure everyone can be part of Jewish life no matter their abilities. We work with schools, synagogues, and lots of other Jewish groups to make learning and community activities welcoming and accessible for everyone. Matan teaches Jewish community professionals and educators how to include every person so that everyone feels that they belong in meaningful Jewish life.
Students can help Matan by spreading kindness and inclusion in their own communities! Volunteers might help with special events, create artwork or social media posts that show what inclusion looks like, or help organize activities that teach others about belonging. Some students also help make materials that are easier for everyone to use or share stories about people making a difference. Every project helps make Jewish spaces more welcoming for all.
