Description:

Students can choose from a list of projects to make; some of which include pet beds, cat felt toys, and dog rope toys. Each project has downloadable instructions and an approved hourly equivalent. Your students can also hold a donation drive for the shelter animals. For every 10 items donated it will equal to 1 hour of service.

When students have completed their projects, they can reach out to volunteer@spcaLA.com and schedule a drop off at either our Long Beach or Hawthorne location.

Age Restrictions: If you are between the ages of 12 to 17, you can volunteer with an adult. Your adult teammate must also submit a volunteer application, complete all volunteer trainings and supervise you every time you volunteer.

Who we are

We are a team of change-makers who believe that every helping hand can raise a child and create a better future for them.

We started extending help to needy children and youth who were eager to study and work for a better life. This moment intensified when we found that there were many such underprivileged children who needed help with food, shelter and education. Our team expanded and we spread out in different regions to make sure we cover all possible areas and help as many children as possible.

We now run shelter homes, schools and a reasonable mess that helps such needy young people. We also have our helpline offices spread throughout the country so one can approach us anytime they need help.

Whether it is a reassuring conversation, financial help, education, professional training, or simply the assurance that they are not alone, we will make sure that everyone gets support that meets them where they’re at as quickly as possible.

We want to build a world where no child or youth feels alone and gets every possible help they need as soon as possible.

Our entire team wants to see a world where every youngster struggling in any way feels able to reach out and has people who’ll help them with education, jobs, and more. We want to spread out in every region so we’ll be reachable to all.
