Everyone deserves to have access to healthy food, and we can make that a reality. Hunger in NYC is not a resource problem. It’s a transportation problem! Fresh and Healthy produce is available, it’s just too expensive to get it where it needs to go. We help those with excess food get it to those who need it most. We are the bridge between, and our amazing community of volunteers are the lifeline. But we go beyond just delivering produce. We work hand in hand with the community leaders who are deeply invested in the well-being of their neighbors to mobilize community action through the shared desire for universal food access. We exist because neighbors are willing to help neighbors. We exist because together, we can #driveouthunger.
Ways to get involved include the Rapid Rescue program, Community Fridge, and fundraising.
