Our family of volunteer makers lovingly hand-knit and crochet beanies for children and adults experiencing cancer treatment-induced hair loss and tiny neonatal blankets for fragile new lives in infant ICU incubators. Our beanies and blankets serve as a constant reminder to the recipient and their loved ones that they are supported and loved.
All of our beanies and blankets are distributed free of charge to recipients.
Covid Protocols:
Knots of Love Covid-19 Maker Safety Protocol:
To protect the health and well-being of our cap recipients, in addition to the In-Office Protocol we instituted, we have a few guidelines for people making Knots of Love beanies and blankets:
1. All makers are required to wash, dry, and bag their creations before sending them to us.
2. Indicate on the submission form that you followed this protocol.
Chaperone Presence:
N/A since nothing is in person.
What will I be doing?
Do you like to knit? Do you have friends and family members who knit? Get together either virtually or in-person and knot beanies for those who are going through cancer treatment or blankets for babies. This is a great way to involve others in your project! Click here for instructions.
