Description:

The Book Foundation program was launched in 2014. The idea was simple; get new books into the hands of children in underserved areas. The research was clear, children growing up in homes with no books are “on average” three years behind children in homes with lots of books. And in low-income areas the ratio of books to children is 1 to 300. Literacy is the key to opening doors and creating opportunity.

What will I be doing?

In addition to collecting and donating books you can volunteer in person to help pack books to get into the hands of young readers!

Who we are

We are a team of change-makers who believe that every helping hand can raise a child and create a better future for them.

We started extending help to needy children and youth who were eager to study and work for a better life. This moment intensified when we found that there were many such underprivileged children who needed help with food, shelter and education. Our team expanded and we spread out in different regions to make sure we cover all possible areas and help as many children as possible.

We now run shelter homes, schools and a reasonable mess that helps such needy young people. We also have our helpline offices spread throughout the country so one can approach us anytime they need help.

Whether it is a reassuring conversation, financial help, education, professional training, or simply the assurance that they are not alone, we will make sure that everyone gets support that meets them where they’re at as quickly as possible.

Our Vision

We want to build a world where no child or youth feels alone and gets every possible help they need as soon as possible.

Our entire team wants to see a world where every youngster struggling in any way feels able to reach out and has people who’ll help them with education, jobs, and more. We want to spread out in every region so we’ll be reachable to all.
