Description:
The New Jewish Home‘s mission is to empower older adults to enhance purpose and well-being through a portfolio of innovative health care services. Our vision is a new reality in which ageism is no longer, and society embraces its older adult members. Inspired by the diverse people we serve, we’re innovating new approaches to caring for older adults that are true to our values and build upon a foundation of making everyone feel at home.
We look forward to welcoming you to our team as a Volunteer at The New Jewish Home, Manhattan. We have provided health care services to older adult New Yorkers since 1848. By joining our team you become part of our long-standing tradition and will become a critical part of our organization and its many services.
Opportunities for volunteering can be tailored to your individual skill set. Some examples could be playing music for residents, playing chess with a resident looking for a partner, helping run holiday events, leading Bingo, and so much more!
