Address:
305 Harrison St., Washington state, United States 98109
Description:

The Vera Project is an all-ages nonprofit space dedicated to fostering personal and community transformation through collaborative, youth-driven engagement in music and art. A music venue, screen print shop, recording studio, art gallery, and safe space for radical self-expression, VERA is a home to Seattle’s creative community.

Students can visit this page of our website for more information, but the general process is attending one of our volunteer orientations, submitting an application, signing up on our scheduling app Shiftboard, and then signing up for any volunteer opportunities that people are able and willing to take on. We have a ton of different ways to volunteer, like doing outreach at local events, volunteering at the shows we host at the venue, or printing and creating artwork in our Screen Print studio. Some volunteer shifts (such as running sound at our shows) do require a prerequisite class to be taken first, but members at Vera also receive a discount for classes.
