We are a non-profit organization whose mission is to help those with differing abilities through the power of equine assisted activities. We truly could not operate without the help of our amazing volunteers. If your students are looking for ways to get exercise, meet new people, or make an impact in your community, we would love to meet you! Our volunteers help groom, bathe, and tack our horses, as well as lead and sidewalk in therapeutic riding and hippo-therapy lessons. We also have a variety of activities that don't include horses, such as taking photos and videos for social media, helping to assemble the monthly volunteer newsletter, and various other administrative tasks.
Their first step in joining our great group of volunteers is to come to a volunteer orientation. We have normally-scheduled orientations every other Thursday and Saturday. A link to sign up for orientation, an attachment for our handbook, and the paperwork that needs to be filled out are all attached. If you choose to sign up, we request a $25.00 donation to cover the cost of your t-shirt and a portion of insurance costs for volunteers.
Volunteers must be over the age of 12.
