KEEN is a volunteer-led, nonprofit organization headquartered in the Washington, DC area. KEEN USA’s Board of Directors oversees affiliate operations and charts national initiatives. Each affiliate also has a Board of Directors, comprised of parents, volunteers and members of the community who direct all local activities in accordance with KEEN‘s mission of providing free programs for kids with disabilities, regardless of the nature or severity of that disability.

What will I be doing?
In addition to working with some great kids and young adults with disabilities, KEEN volunteers, meet a variety of interesting community-minded people. Volunteering for KEEN is fun and offers opportunities for occasional participation, regular involvement, and leadership. Volunteers don’t need any prior experience working with disabled individuals – KEEN provides training prior to each session. You will be assigned to assist a coach with their athletes.
