  5. Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center
Address:
18675 NE 106th St, Washington state, United States 98052
Description:

Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center is a community where horses transform the bodies, minds, and spirits of people with disabilities.

For individuals under the age of 14, we have a couple of options to get involved—cleaning tack, mucking unoccupied stalls, scrubbing grain and water buckets, facility cleaning, landscaping, and special events deemed appropriate for youth. Volunteers under the age of 14 can also help distribute flyers around the Puget Sound area to spread the word about Little Bit’s mission. Organizing a fundraiser to benefit our riders and horses is another great option for youth. Those under age 14 are required to have a parent or adult guardian with them at all times while volunteering at Little Bit. We do not have opportunities for volunteers under the age of 14 to work directly with horses or our clients due to liability and insurance constraints.
