Description:

Mid Sound Fisheries Enhancement Group works to involve local people in projects that will ensure a future for wild salmon. We know that these amazing fish need our help. We also know that our communities are filled with the most innovative, determined and generous people around. Join us to restore degraded salmon habitat and steward a future in which people enthusiastically care for local streams and beaches. Together we can keep salmon a vibrant part of our Sound.

We restore habitat in close partnership with others. We work with private and public landowners, community volunteers, construction contractors, engineers, tribes, nonprofits, and state and local funding organizations to design and construct a variety of projects.

As a small nonprofit with big goals, Mid Sound Fisheries Enhancement Group relies on assistance from volunteers who share our passion for fisheries habitat restoration.

Interested volunteers should contact Antonia Jindrich, Operations Director, antonia@midsoundfisheries.org

Parents are required to sign their child in and out from volunteering but are not required to be present the full time.
