SPCA-LA Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals

SPCA-LA offers short-term volunteer projects that Bnai Mitzvah students can work on. Students can choose from a list of projects to make; some of which include pet beds, cat felt toys, and dog rope toys. Each project has downloadable instructions and an approved hourly equivalent. Students can also hold a donation drive for the shelter animals. Every 10 items donated will equal to 1 hour of service. There is also a list of Needed Items on our website. When your students have completed their projects, SPCA will help them schedule a drop off at either our Long Beach or Hawthorne location.
